@maokitty Just to make sure I understand, you're requesting an upgrade to v0.48.1 of Prometheus?

If that is your request, this dependency will be automatically upgraded as a part of the next collector release.

A PR was merged yesterday upgrading the Prometheus dependency to v0.48.1. This includes the fix for the referenced issue prometheus/prometheus#12953. This will be included in the next collector release, v0.92.0. Prometheus v0.49.0 will include the fix for issue prometheus/prometheus#12992.

Since the Prometheus versions are upgraded automatically and consistently for collector releases, I'm going to close this issue for now. Please let me know if we missed anything though, or if there's anything else we can do to help!
