List of all ORA responses for a particular assignement

I know there are some schools using Open edX for on-campus work who would love to be able to get a downloadable set of info and submissions more easily.

@Daniel-hershel In speaking with @felipemontoya and @juancamilom today they are planning to take this on. I wanted to make sure you didn't have immediate plans to do so.

the edunext / unidigital team has buildind this capability and PR to add visibility into the list of student submissions.
starting from the open responses tab in the instructor dashboard it allows to clic on the submission count for each ORA asignments and get the list of submissions.
The pr is here: #2025

Hi @e0d, we were planning to do this but from the student side, and it looks like this is potentially for the course team side? The project we are planning to start soon (unless there really is crossover here) is to provide students with a view of all their ORA assignments for a particular course. Is that what this feature would do? Or is it only aimed at giving a new view to instructors? Thanks

@Daniel-hershel this version is instructor facing and in the category of optimizing the ORA grading workflow.

This improvement makes it easier for the instructors to grade ORA submissions without copying and pasting each username for a manual search. As said before, this feature can be turned on and off in case you want the default ORA behavior.

So yes, only aimed at instructors.

A quick update on this issue from the work being done by the edunext / unidigital team.

In order to increase the value of this contribution in the long run, we are exploring building this capability more aligned with the frontend-app-ora-grading.

This MFE currently displays a list of learners that have submitted a response, which looks like this:
image

and a detailed view of a learner´s individual reponse that allows a staff member to grade it and looks like this:
image

The motivation for this contribution is to give staff users easier access to the relevant information about the responses that have been submitted and the assessmept steps these responses have gone through.

Our proposal is to work in extending the list of responses to include more information about the learner and status of the assessment process,
image

and also extending the detailed view to include all the relevant information of the submission assessment workflow.

We have created an interactive mockup to better convey the proposal and receive feedback.

I believe this additional information would render the submissions list and submission detailed views also useful for instructors even when there isn´t a staff assessment step, so if / when this lands, we´d be commited to keep polishing the details to make it serve that purpose.

@Daniel-hershel and @mattcarter please let us know if this feels aligned with your vision or if you´d have any immediate concerns that should make us reevaluate. we are very motivated to start coding in order to deliver this contribution.

@e0d fyi.

@juancamilom thanks for that great overview. I don't have any concerns from the product perspective. You can consider this approved from the product side.
