• The Split Response Processor was added in 2.16 in Document new Split and Sort SearchResponseProcessors #7767
• Due to incorrect merge resolution, it is disabled and not available, see [BUG] The split response processor is not enabled in 2.16 OpenSearch#15229
• I have submitted Remove Split Response Processor from 2.16 Search Pipeline docs #8078 to remove it from current docs
• Add Split Response Processor to 2.17 Search Pipeline docs #8081 adds it back in to 2.17 docs
