@maxfirmbach I was wondering if the adapter really requires DUNE 2.7 or later, restricting it to very recent releases.

Is there any reason to not use DUNE 2.6? Because this would simplify the DUNE installation process, as it is available from APT on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. See also precice/vm#30

Hello @MakisH,

I think some syntax is used restricting it to DUNE 2.7 ... need to have a look at it.
