Connection to the tracker sometimes is on "waiting", and randomly timeout or eventually handles the request. Tested out "picotorrent", which has no issues connecting to a IPv4 or IPv6 connection.
Wireshark shows the UDP packet was received by qBittorrent, but somehow, the client is doing something more then should be the case.
Steps to reproduce
Run a torrent with a announce URL to udp://tracker-udp.gbitt.info:80/announce which both listens on IPv4 and IPv6.
The request is send correctly when monitoring through Wireshark, packet with the data is returned as expected, but the client's status of the tracker stays on "Waiting" longer then it should.
When using a direct IP address to the tracker, instead of the DNS URL, it works fine, most of the time, but has sometimes a issue as explained on number 2.
Additional context
I've used Picotorrent as a testing bed, to see if same problems occurred there as well, but this is not the case. The requests to the UDP tracker is being handled correctly, and fast as expected. I would expect the same from qBittorrent and Libtorrent.
qBittorrent & operating system versions
qBittorrent: v4.4.5 x64
Operating System: Windows 11 21H2 build 22000.1098 x64 (10.0.22000)
Qt: 5.15.5
Libtorrent: 1.2.17.0
