Does not work in Windows Terminal #348

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Windows Terminal
  2. Open a Windows Terminal window
  3. Enter a compose sequence, e.g. Right Alt + " + u

Expected behavior

The character the compose sequence refers to appears on the command line.

Actual behavior

Nothing happens.

This is most likely caused by this change to Windows Terminal, as mentioned here and here.
What seems to be working for now is to add "experimental.input.forceVT": true, option to Windows Terminal's settings.json file (see previous links for source).
At least for me this solved the issue.

This appears to have been fixed in microsoft/terminal#7900 according to microsoft/terminal#7089 (comment) so I am closing this issue. Thanks to both of you for reporting and researching the problem.
