  • Sway Version:

  • Debug Log and Configuration File:

  • Stack Trace:

    • N/A, is not a crash
  • Description:

    • start sway
    • start gammastep, or another redshift-like program that changes gamma
    • start an application
    • fullscreen it
    • suddenly, the gamma changes apruptly do not apply any more
    • after unfullscreening, gamma returns to normal

I have bisected the issue and the culprit is commit 16b0afd. After reverting that commit, everything works fine again.

I have not seen any significant difference in the logs between the fixed and broken versions, but both fixed and broken logs seem to get "Failed to get DMA-BUF from buffer" errors while konsole is fullscreened.
