Transactional emails

User story

As a visitor / as a website owner,
I want to receive emails on specific events (like a form submit),
so that I have confirmation / receive requests / ...

Checklist

• Emails can be sent to known (internal) and unknown (external) email addresses (like incoming@mysite.com and somevisitor@example.com)
• Emails can have custom templates
• Emails are sent from a trusted source
• Transactional email API route is protected

Possible solutions

• Use Cloudflare MailChannels (3rd party service, free via Cloudflare Workers)
• Use Cloudflare Email routing (only suitable for known email addresses)
• Use Postmark (which De Voorhoede uses for multiple clients and projects)
