Affected Puppet, Ruby, OS and module versions/distributions

  • Puppet: 4
  • Ruby: 2.1.9
  • Distribution: Debian/Stretch
  • Module version: master

How to reproduce (e.g Puppet code you use)

use the module, but use install_method: 'package'

What are you seeing

the amtool will be replaced with symlink from the non existing amtool from /opt/

What behaviour did you expect instead

the amtool should not be replaced.
