...psst! While Bower is maintained, we recommend using Yarn and Webpack or Parcel for front-end projects read how to migrate!

...dose it say on the bower homepage, bower is so legacy. Many are already using just any cdn + pure esm import nowdays

I guess we could, but it's not like bower.json is a huge maintenance burden.
