Create tests with Jest (or any other suggested testing framework) in order to make sure we don't break anything while coding new features.

The aim of this issue is to setup tests in the project and to provide some basic test examples!

(We talked about this a while ago on Discord; didn't really have time until now; currently have set up Jest and Cypress /w example tests and I'd like to open a PR for some initialinput etc...)
