Description

"Read replica" is a fantastic feature in YugabyteDB. I would like to suggest one enhancement to this feature:

  1. If we can enhance it to exclude certain tables it might add great value. There are many use cases where Application might be loading lot of data in staging and temporary tables. Replicating them on read replicas might be overkill on compute and network resources.
  2. I can provide additional details if needed for one App where I faced this problem and we had to write our own Logical Replication to overcome this limitation with different database for creating a Dual cluster.
