7DaysofCodeChallenge with ALC(Andela Learning Community) - Journal App

Journal App built with Java and Firebase Database as the Backend.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

  1. Android Studio and SDK Already Setup.
  2. Google Account to Setup Firebase App.

Installing

A step by step series of examples that tell you how to get a development env running

Firebase

  1. Go to Firebase Console here: https://console.firebase.google.com
  2. Add a new project
  3. Go to project settings and add Android App
  4. Follow the instruction to generate the Firebase Config file and copy the file to your app root folder.
  5. You are all set to run the app!!!
