Installation instruction

Package managementgroup

You can install the package managementgroup of this PR using the following command:

  • Before the Azure CLI next release (2020.04.21). You need to build azure-cli with the dev branch which contains the new azure-core. So that the codegen extension can work.
  • The steps are:
git clone git@github.com:Azure/azure-cli.git
git clone git@github.com:Azure/azure-cli-extensions.git
cd azure-cli
git checkout dev
# you need to get your python3 as python ready.
python -m virtualenv env
source env/bin/activate
pip install azdev
azdev setup -c -r ../azure-cli-extensions/

# after the azdev setup you get the az

# When the Azure CLI with new azure core feature released. you can skip all the step above. just run
pip install azure-cli

# Then run below command.
az extension add --source=https://sdkautomation.blob.core.windows.net/sdkautomation-pipeline/Azure/azure-rest-api-specs/9174/azure-cli-extensions/Azure/azure-cli-extensions/managementgroup/managementgroup-0.1.0-py3-none-any.whl

Command
az quantum workspace create : Creates a new Azure Quantum workspace.
Command group 'quantum' is in preview. It may be changed/removed in a future
release.
Arguments
--location -l : Location. Values from: az account list-locations. You can configure
the default location using az configure --defaults location=<location>.
--resource-group -g : Name of resource group. You can configure the default group using az configure --defaults group=<name>.
--storage_account -sa : Name of the storage account to be used by a quantum workspace.
--workspace-name -w : Name of the Quantum Workspace. You can configure the default workspace
using az quantum workspace set.
