Currently, when a BibTeX file is broken, Docear4Word shows this dialog:

I would like to have the text "Or send your BibTeX database..." replaced with "For more information, please visit http://www.docear.org/faqs/why-can-my-bibtex-file-not-be-loaded/" (or some similar text - the important thing is the link to the FAQ).

I would like to

  1. add an additional text below the given message : "Would you like to visit the web page?",
  2. change the message box with "Yes or No" for users. If the users click "Yes" then open a browser window for the web page."
    How do you think?

I tried the new v1.3.1 but I cannot manage to open the error dialog. If I have a broken BibTeX file, the "Add Reference" dialog opens,

and I can select a reference

When I click on the button "Add Refeence" the dialog closes but no reference is added

usually, the error dialog should have been shown before the "Add Reference" dialog opens

  1. Could you send an e-mail to me with your broken BibTex file?
  2. What's your MS office version?
I've tested that and D4W cannot reappear the bug you said.

It seems to be the bug of Old CiteProc library.
However, the new CiteProc library will affect the decision of the Citation List on showing or not.
I will check it in these two days.
