This file with .git/COMMIT_EDITMSG as name (or highlighter) on helix 22.12 (5c6b7127) is very slow when editing (~1s per keystroke).

The worst-edit.msg makes it basically impossible to edit anything (or you are flying blind) and have to wait until it caught up. Memory usage was 4GB of real mem after pressing one key.
