Action Performed:

  1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Go to #announce room.
  3. Mention #announce and send it.
  4. Wait until the message is really sent (if it is not actually sent, for example the sent message becomes grayed out when going offline, this issue is not reproducible).
  5. Long press on the message > Copy to clipboard.

Expected Result:

App will not crash.

Actual Result:

App crashes.

@luacmartins FYI I haven't added the External label as I wasn't 100% sure about this issue. Please take a look and add the label if you agree it's a bug and can be handled by external contributors.
