Staging branch for FRR Northbound unified management daemon

This page summarizes a workflow decision made on 2022-04-05 regarding how to proceed with development of PR #10000, which contributes a unified management daemon (mgmtd) to FRR.

The community opinion is that this PR needs significant work prior to being ready to be pulled into the main FRR codebase. To provide a common working area to make these changes, the contents of the PR are going to be pulled into a new "working branch" within the FRR repository. The workflow for this branch will be identical to that used for the master branch of the FRR repository. Changes to the branch will be submitted as pull requests against the working branch and must be reviewed prior to merge.

Once the branch is in an acceptable state a PR will be opened sourced from the working branch targeted against the master branch. At this time final review will occur.
