PROGRAMMING WORKSHOP AT COG

This is the documentation of a programming workshop at Carl-Orff-Gymnasium in Unterschleissheim/Germany.

We use JavaScript as our programming language for the behavior, HTML as the base structure and CSS for styling. But the main focus lies on JavaScript!

Cloud9 IDE we prefer for our school programming workshop, cause of restrictions on school PCs. This integrated development environment (IDE) gives us a projectfolder structure, editor and a terminal. A full Ubuntu workspace in the cloud.

Introduction to objects, functions and control structures.

p5.js is a JavaScript client-side library for creating graphic and interactive experiences, and makes coding accessible for artists, designers, educators, and beginners.

Cloud9 gives us access to Linux servers and as such to the terminal and commandline.

Node.js is an JavaScript runtime environment.

MongoDB is an open-source, document-oriented database designed for ease of development and scaling.

Meteor is a full-stack JavaScript platform for developing modern web and mobile applications.
