With 4.0 being a rewrite of the code base, this ticket represents one of the core functional components to be done. Individual items that can be tested separately or need to be passed to another developer or designer should be added as new tickets under this one.

Can we decide what to do with this ticket? Is account page all set for 4.0 (besides specific issues?)

Can we open any post 4.0 issues left separately?

As far as I am concerned, the only thing left regarding the account page is restructuring the dropdown for the account when a user clicks on their username.

Preferred solution for this Account dropdown issue:

• add Account Information Tab to the account page
• in dropdown there is an Account Information option, when user selects that, they are brought to the Account Information tab with the account information displayed there; user needs to still click on Edit Account button to edit

Other option:

• Direct links to the edit account information and edit password pages in the account dropdown

I have talked to Elizabeth about her suggestions, and will implement them for Beta 10 since they seem very simple and low impact. I already have another ticket (#1227) related to that page.

Moved Account Information out of the Edit Account dropdown on the Account page, and give it it's own tab. Added Account Information into the dropdown off the user's name in the navbar.
