Hi @mrc-rpprcht I added tests for fedora to make sure eveything works.

In addition I checked whether we need the testing channel, as is not available since 2020 I would say it can be removed and the last version which provides testing path is 31 which is EOL an therefore we must not support it. If its available again we can add the path for sure.

Can you remove the testing repo and then I'll merge the PR.
