noticed that in help there is an info ref. an option that seems to not exist anymore:

./mm2 help

Command-line options.
The first command-line argument is special and designates the mode.

...
  nxt                        ..  Query the local NXT client (port 7876) regarding the SuperNET account in NXT.
...

./mm2 nxt
