discord.sh

This script automatically installs and updates Discord on your computer. When run, it checks whether Discord has to be installed or updated. It also installs itself so that you can safely delete it once you have run it once.

Requirements

You may need to install:

  • curl
  • jq

Usage

Run it once from the terminal, after that you can safely delete the script since it installs itself to the system. From then on, you can launch Discord from the application menu.

You can launch the script like this: bash discord.sh
