@Habbie I have successfully tested this change on two gmysql native replication setups that are not yet in production, one Debian 11/bullseye and one Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS/focal fossa both current.

only change:

  vars:
    pdns_install_repo: "{{ pdns_auth_powerdns_repo_46 }}"

resulting files:

# cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/powerdns-auth-46.list
deb [arch=amd64] http://repo.powerdns.com/debian bullseye-auth-46 main

# cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/powerdns-auth-46.list
deb [arch=amd64] http://repo.powerdns.com/ubuntu focal-auth-46 main
