How has this been tested?

Tested locally by:

• create a new post
• add a navigation block
• choose create empty
• set style from inspector to dark
• verify the appender is inverted

Looks good. We should look at bringing variables.scss and colors.scss into the project at some point.

I notice this merges to another branch/PR, and the changes in that PR are causing tests to fail. It doesn't seem to depend on the other PR so could be merged separately.
