• this is an unsupervised machine learning project repository
• the objective of this project is to return the most likely anomalies given the 2006 CIBC Insurance claims dataset
• the strategy is to use GMM to isolate datapoints with small probability scores in their respectice cluster
• the outlier's and classified as anomolies and are ranked in terms of increasing probabilities
