Hi,

We found a weird issue with md-select and this visible from the demo page : The positioning is really inconsistent.

If you set up a a subcategory in your select, then the select will be positionned way above the input (try the Pizza toppings) and even for the other selects, there is always a gap of few pixels that you can see if you place multiple selects on the same line. Every select popup does not pop at the same absolute y position.
