As part of #916, the docs sidenav has been updated to do a few things:

  • List items grouped in unordered lists
  • Includes new Getting Started page
  • "Customization" and "API Reference" headers added to clarify docs sections
  • Uses md-button components inside of list items
  • Toggle buttons use List Control pattern (official component forthcoming in mdList: Expando feature needed. #985)
  • ARIA indicates relationship between toggle button and child menu, when menus are open or closed
  • Catch top-level routes for /api/, /demos/, and /layout/
