SUMMARY
I specify disks to modify with controller number and bus number. I also use both attributes to filter the disks later.
After adding a new disk to a VM with
vmware_guest_disk, the disk details are returned. Unfortunataly these details does not containscontroller_bus_numberin the attributes likevmware_guest_disk_infodoes.Workaround: add an additional call of
vmware_guest_disk_infoand use its data.Output of
