Installation

Although the Digging Into Data package is not a pure Python package, needing to be unpacked and used in situ, the convention of using setup.py as the installation method is followed.

To Install

python setup.py install

or

python setup.py develop

To Uninstall

python setup.py uninstall

or

python setup.py develop --uninstall

Requirements / Dependencies

Cheshire3 for Archives requires a working installation of Cheshire3, with the additional grid and textmining features installed.
