Document modelling of Memory-mapped I/O #7157

Add documentation of marking memory regions as valid memory as well as read/write emulation functions. The documentation is based on our boot code paper (Model checking boot code from AWS data centers, Sections 4.1 and 4.2).

Fixes: #6997
