In declaring new boundaries, what is the importance of polarity normals? If the normal is "0 -1 0" denotes a leaving flux, and does this polarity change the polarity of the boundary condition, such as NormalFluxBC.

The polarity does not affect the BC. I'd imagine your domain, where center is (0,0,0) and Top (positive) is (0,1,0) with its respected Bottom (negative) as (0,-1,0) . Some concepts for Right-Left. |
