Adding columns in dashboard search panel

I know this could be done via Discovery panel (although still difficult to use, e.g. I wish I could add directly from the detailed view of a doc), but in dashboards when I want to drill down, i want to adhoc add columns so it's easier to see.

Agreed, something we're working on. I like the idea of making the columns addable from the detailed view of the doc, probably pretty easy todo.
