Exercism's style guide for Markdown prefers one sentence per line. I also removed some trailing whitespace.

Looks good, proposing the change where things like extensions are "quoted" with code blocks to show it as it is "literally" presented.

Yeah, good catch. The style guide puts tics around .py so that's fair game.
