link selection requires confirmation

when pressing 'f' to show grid of links, pressing corresponding key does not immediately invoke link but requires 'enter' to confirm. This behavior is not present when selecting text fields.

addendum: (i rarely get to use that word so thanks) when i select a text box with 'q' and then type 'e', it does not enter 'e' in text but looks for a link or object to tagged with 'e'. Thus text box still require confirmation as well.

I will be rewriting link hints soon. As of now they are just a copy and paste from vim-like.
