Grott is a "hobby" project you can use it privately as it is (with the potential errors and imperfections).

The idea of Grott is that I can improve my skills (python, mqtt, influxdb grafana, nodered, docker etc) while "playing" around and bring value to the community. This sometimes does not give to most optimal coding but Grott is there for a couple of years and is being used by a lot of people around the world. So I think it works and fulfill somehow a need. as long as i will enjoy it I will improve Grott

By using Grott, you accept responsibility for the security of the data you extract. Neither Grott nor Growatt can be held responsible for data breaches stemming from the extraction of data outside of the Growatt ecosystem

Remarks and requests for improvement are welcome.

Proposed changes will be followed, evaluated and implemented when brings added value, contributes to and is inline with the design and future plans.

Grott processing and behaviour is a result of reversed engineering and might not be correct or complete.
