How to test a new port

I forked vcpkg and created a new port. It is work when i use vcpkg install hwinfo. But when i add it as dependencies in my project's vcpkg.json, it's not work.

error: the baseline does not contain an entry for port hwinfo

If i change my baseline with my new commit, it is same.
So how can i test a new port?

add this to vcpkg-configuration.json works

"overlay-ports": [
        "D:/dev/vcpkg/ports/hwinfo"
    ]
