### Windows support

`arpack-ng` runs on windows using `mingw64`.
`arpack-ng` can be installed on Windows as a MinGW-w64 package via various distribution, for example through [MSYS2](https://packages.msys2.org/package/mingw-w64-x86_64-arpack) with `pacman -S mingw-w64-x86_64-arpack`. It can also be built and installed through [vcpkg](https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg) with `vcpkg install arpack-ng`.
