Poems 📖

Poems - is a web application for poems lovers, which allows users to share their works and read the works of other people.

Basic functionality 📚

• Account creation🙍‍♂️: users can create their accounts using: an email, password, and Account refactoring: users can add their descriptions, change the username, password, and email also upload pictures to the account.


• Poetry adding and refactoring📝: users can add their poetries, refactor them and make them private or public.


• Poetry searching🔍: an opportunity to find the poems by the poem's name or some text from the poem.


• User searching🔍: an opportunity to find the users by username.


• Other🗒️:users can like poetries, add subscriptions for other users, and more.

Technical implementation ⚙

• The web application is created using Java and Spring Framework;


• Database - PostgreSQL;


• Front-end part is created using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS;


• Image storage - Google Cloud Storage.

Servers for deployment 🛠️

• Front-end part has been uploaded to the Netlify server.


• Back-end part has been uploaded to the Heroku server.
