Here are some ideas of what you can tell your potential sponsors:

• Who are you, and where are you from?
  I'm an individual currently residing in Germany. I've been working on GNU/Linux distributions for the better part of my life for fun and profit... mostly fun really.
• What are you working on?
  Primarily I work on ArchPOWER which is a Archlinux based GNU/Linux distribution for the various PowerPC/OpenPOWER variants as well as RISC-V.
• Why is your sponsorship important? How will I use the funds?
  I have costs primarily running machines for build systems and testing. This costs not only space under my desks but also electricity, hosting and colocation. Without all this, it would be near impossible to provide anything near the scope ArchPOWER does now.

Occasionally I might fund third-parties and individuals fixing a long-standing bug (there will be bounties in the issue trackers). ;)
