What's new in this PR?

Issues

• amazon is ending support for their amazon linux 1 instance which means it will no longer receive security updates and we must update to the new instance.

Solutions

• For an in-depth solution guide please refer to the links above. Generally, we are creating a new instance on AL2, transitioning configuration, and modifying several options on the repository to work with the new format.
