Changes
This PR brings back 7d55cf6, which we reverted few weeks ago, although I kept the refactor of styles and scripts intact, to avoid possible regressions.
Plus, this PR fixes #9224
Testing
Manually checked that the starlight project compiles successfully and the styles are correctly applied. This was the big regression that we hit few weeks ago.
Also, I added new test cases to check if #9224 is fixed.
