Hey Everyone,

Groupie is switching to a new "Charm Validation" technique and getting rid of the ugly hashes -- like "[#Ag4f]" at the end of messages.

Instead we're using 3 target markers.

You may see some "Fake News" responses from people who haven't updated yet. Hopefully it won't take too long to get everyone updated.

Support for Global Friends List & Auto-Respond to Friends

Right-click the Mini-map Menu to enable Auto Response to Global Friends who create groups. (To change what sorts of instances you respond to, or who is included in your Global Friends List, hit up the Options Interface.)

Support for GearScore in LFG Messages

For level 80 characters... with the option to fallback to just Item-level, or Character Level.

Revisions to the Auto-response Tool

By default, when you list yourself the "What are you inviting me to?..." is Disabled, and when you create a Group the "What Role?..." is Enabled for people who don't message you first. (You can change this behavior in the Options Interface.)

Showing Talent & Gear Summaries in Player Tool-tips

There are limitations with the WoW API. You have to be in-range, and you may have to have someone targeted for 2-3 seconds in order for the data to show up.

Revisions to the Options Interface

Note: Many options have been reset to defaults with this release .

Changed the LFG Button to Indicate Groups You've Already Messaged

Replaced the Validation Hash with Target Markers

Good suggestion from DISCORD:haste#8579. "Charm Validation" will roll out in phases... Not this release, but in 2-3 weeks brace yourselves for a flood of "Fake News" messages from people who don't update add-ons very often.
