F.E.I.S. can be used to create or edit jubeat charts (that I sometimes refer to as fumen, which is just weeblang for chart but I personnaly use it specifically for jubeat). It is a hobby project for me, aiming to create a modern fumen editor inspired by the designs of both ArrowVortex and the iOS jubeat plus chart editor. Through my own experiences as an all-around rhythm game tinkerer and the feedback of many other players in the rhythm game community, F.E.I.S has yet to grow into a powerful editor that offers many nifty features to make fumen editing more convenient, simple, and fun.

It's kind of a choose your *nix text editor situation. Yeah, sure, you can edit fumens the old-fashioned way with a text editor and it gives you more flexibility and so on and so on, but for the rest of us in desperate need for something with a lot more GUI, F.E.I.S. is here to try and save the day.
