For extra context, Tim mentioned that they'd like to have these by 8.12. They also mentioned that they are willing to work on updates themselves with guidance for the EUI team if needed.

Hey @timductive. You had added #2082 to the list above.

The issue was closed in favor #5997, which was fixed by #7028.

Does this satisfy your requirements for #2082?

EDIT: I'm going to mark the task as completed for now.

sorry i missed the ping, but yes the truncate option plus the min-width option for combobox will solve this #2082 for us @JasonStoltz

@timductive I'm removing elastic/kibana#158876 from the EUI list of asks. There is nothing EUI can do about search results being loaded in from Elasticsearch aside from elastic/kibana#171427.

#7343 should close elastic/kibana#133739.
