- use `react-focus-on`'s scrollLock API to prevent this (they manage preserving the width of the scrollbar for us)

Should this be a cypress test instead so we're not trying to hack around jsdom/rtl limitations?

To be honest, I don't think it matters since the test is getting deleted anyway once the long-term fix is in.

Summary
This temporarily addresses #6304 but is not the intended long-term solution. Ideally once theKashey/react-focus-on#63 is merged and released, we would upgrade
react-focus-onand switch to usingfocusOptions={{ preventScroll: true }}instead.I recommend following along by commit, the first commit has the primary workaround (intended to be easily removable/deletable in the future).
