Adding Linea network support

Describe the Feature

@ricmoo @zemse Hi, following the related discussion here, we would be happy to see Linea's networks (mainnet and testnet) supported on ethers.js.
Please keep in mind that mainnet RPC endpoints can not be used right now but will be available in the upcoming weeks.

Also, in order to ease the work, I prepared a pull request here: #4189

Can you include additional info and links regarding Linea?

I generally do not add chains to the default chains unless they are popular or provide significant value to the blockchain ecosystem (for example, when new testnet s like Sepolia are created).

Ethers is designed to make it easy to add new network packages though, that can include all sorts of custom logic. If you can get the Lonea team in touch with me, I am working on a way to make it easier for official support of alt-chains too. :)

I just don’t know anything about them and would want to read up first… :)

Linea is a type 2 zero knowledge EVM built by ConsenSys. Its testnet is already available and we're quite proud of its success (more than 43M tx so far). And then we plan to launch Linea mainnet quite soon 🙂

I'm actually part of ConsenSys and support Linea team so they can more easily welcome users when mainnet is available. If you have more questions, I'd be happy to answer them or to ask our team to answer it.

Oh side question @ricmoo, would you be ok if ethers.js was listed as part of Linea's ecosystem on linea.build website? If so, would you have a logotype to provide?

Heya! Sure, you can list ethers. I haven’t added this PR yet though. It will likely go out in the next minor bump. I’ll tag it with “next-patch” with “minor-bump”.

What is the difference between the "infura" (i.e. linea-goerli.infura.io) and the "public" (i.e. rpc.linea.build) endpoints? Are they symlinks to each other or operated by separate operators?

I'm adding it now and testing it; the minor bump should go out hopefully this weekend, but there are quite a few things I'm trying to squeeze in (see this query).

Hey @ricmoo! rpc.linea.build is the public RPC endpoint, but behind the scene it's using the Infura endpoint 🙂 (so there's only one operator).

@Akaryatrh Thanks, yes that logo is fine. I kinda just take my existing SVG file and slap it on whatever shape/pattern/etc. makes sense for the given situation.
