There are many ways to discover resources in a Geoportal, described in the following topics:
- Search for Resources: describes search options available on the Geoportal search page.
- Browse for Resources: describes how to use the Browse tree available from the Geoportal's Browse tab.
- Search with Geoportal Clients: describes how to search geoportals from within ArcMap, ArcGIS Explorer, HTML pages, Flex viewers, and Silverlight viewers.
